OUR QUILT CAMP:
Held three (3) times per year.
We rent Tecumseh City Hall for a three-day event from 8:00 am until 10:00 pm
each day. We take our machines and necessary sewing items, projects, fabric
and patterns. We share ideas, sew, visit and eat lots of delicious food. There is
a vendor at each camp with fabrics, notions, patterns, etc for purchase.
Remember to take all dishes home and to clean up after yourself. Start planning
your list of items to bring like: extension cords, iron and ironing board and
cutting items. You might want to bring your own chair. The City Hall provides
tables and chairs but yours might provide more comfort. Cost is $30.00 for 3
days. If you can only attend one day the fee is $15.00. You don’t want to miss
out. Start planning today.

by Marilyn Withrow of Checotah.

We have something new. Finally, we are able to offer our own long-arm quilting
services for you. My daughter, Delaney Sutton, has joined us in the local
Norman area with her Quilt a la Mode company. Come by the shop to see
samples of her quilting. We will continue to provide information on other area
machine quilters as well. Dig out those quilt tops that need to be finished and

TIDBITS FROM JUNE 2010 MEETING
Geri Goodnight will have a Christmas Mystery Quilt block of the month - passed
out the 1st block to members interested in participating in this project. Doris
Wise gave Quilt Show report, Racks for use in show located. Quilt Show
Committee meeting at the July Quilt camp. Horsin’ Around quilt tickets
available Guild Library now has 2 new cabinets for use – one with rollers.
By vote, Door Prizes have been eliminated.

you don’t have to be 60 to do so. Bring what you are working on (mostly
handwork) and show-n-tell and getting to know each other. Anyone is welcome

at the meeting. If you need help putting them together, just ask one of the
members to help. They will be glad to help you.

Rodeo – July 18th.
ATTENTION LADIES!!!
There will be sign up sheets at the July meeting for our week at the Rodeo. We
will be there FIVE days.
